Love the April fools joke, but on a serious note, if your cousin did most of that(not just the neck) it MIGHT be worthwhile to 'hire' them.

Did you pick grunt work, and did Don talk about Cassie? You should go to the hideout, leave, and then come back. Cassie should be gone. Go to the Don, and she'll be with him, and she'll be mad at you. He'll offer money. Don't take it, say you weren't the one to find her, and therefor shouldn't be paid. He'll say whatever. You now need to rescue Cassie, but need help from other people.
I do agree, it'd be interesting and fun to use, but as someone who's going into game development, it would be a lot of systems to implement. Plus since most attacks are melee range, does that mean you'd do damage, and they hit you back? It's a lot of things to implement, but I do agree it sounds fun, and could be an interesting weapon to use.
Indivi!!
IDEA!!
Hear me out: *pause for dramatic effect* Sleeping bag.
Can be used everywhere and anywhere to sleep, but everytime you have a chance to be woken by an enemy trying to attack you, but this can be lowered the higher your stats are in senses. Because you'd be able to know and wake up on time. Certain areas you wouldn't be able to, but I'm thinking mostly in outdoor areas. Basically a way of moving forward the characters, without having to leave, find a bed, sleep, and return. If you are also planning on friends following you like Rinny does in Transylvania, they could protect you while you sleep, and you do the same for them when you wake up. It's a lot of systems, and might take a while to implement, but we've been traveling alone a lot recently, and I got to admit, I take Rinny with me everytime I'm in Transylvania.
This is actually really interesting, and how effective the weapon is can be determined from senses, because you need to be able to see what your shooting. It'd add an interesting third way of attacking, and with different ways to use it. It might be a little difficult to code, but sounds interesting.
One thing I've noticed, and I'm not sure if this is related, but whenever I play LD+, the icon it shows is from whatever the last game that used the NW software is. I'm not sure if it thinks it's opening up that game, and doesn't know LD+ exists, or if you haven't developed an icon to overwrite it or not.
Edit: Re-downloading it worked, I think?
I'm encountering the same error I was a while ago.
Your profile can not be used because it is from a newer version of NW.js.
Some features may be unavailable. Please specify a different profile directory or use a newer version of NW.js.
I found the old comment, followed the steps, removed the nwjs folder, and web-journal and other, and I still get a black screen when trying to enter. What am I doing wrong?
Like is there a way to update it?
Edit: I have other indie games that also use NW.js, and give the same error, but still work no issues.
I love how he's also responded to your comment, and not a single response from your end. Give the game devs some faith. It's a struggle to balance multiple projects at once, and what it seems with Polarity, a game with multiple routes, it takes longer to develop than something like a shooter game. Instead of complaining, try rejecting some of the girls you always allowed, or allow advances on some of the girls who you've never bothered to look at before. In other words, try out the different paths the game may have to offer. Does rejecting Melanie early still cause her to get jealous if you accept the advances of Lucia later? Etc, etc.
One final note. You can only hate something or someone, if you were taught to, if they or it wronged you, or you actually care about the project or story.
I'd personally love to see the game finished, even if there's been a massive gap. I honestly, also don't mind if the visuals don't come out with the story. The story is what currently has me hooked the most. I'm dying to know what happened at the end of chapter 4. It's a cliff-hanger I'd like to see answered.
